SHOPPING AND WALKING TOUR

The tour is a combination of shopping and walking activities which also include some landmarks of Istanbul. It starts from Taksim Square and ends at Sultanahmet Square.

The Tour Plan includes :

-Taksim Square

-Istiklal Street ( One of the liveliest and the most popular streets of Istanbul. It was originally developed in the 19th century to house foreign embassies)

-Galata Tower (Genoese tower dating back to the 14th century. It has a 360 degrees viewing terrace at the top)

-Galata Bridge ( It is the first bridge to be built to connect the old Istanbul to the opposite shore. It is at the starting point of the Golden Horn)

-Spice Market ( One small Ottoman market which was built in the 17th century. It is famous for its spices, dried fruits, delicatessen and all kinds of nuts)

-The Grand Bazaar ( Very large Ottoman bazaar covered with domes. Dating back to the 15th century, it is one of the oldest markets in the world)

-And a lunch break around mid-day.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

-The whole tour will be on foot and it is a long walking track. Therefore comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.

-Since the tour also involves shopping activity, the duration of the tour may vary from 6 hours up to 7 hours.

-The Tour Price includes:

2) Professional Tour Guidance

-Transportation (if any) , Lunch and Galata Tower entrance fees are not included in the tour price.

-Please note that the customers are also liable for the guide's lunch and transportation expenses during the tour.

-Having Turkish currency with you would be more practical especially for the entrance fees.
